Basket Fund Mechanisms
The creation of a basket fund or joint financing mechanism requires significant preparatory work. The Just Governance Group has noted approximately seven steps divided into 3 major phases that an institution generally passes through until the moment when a basket fund is fully functional. Although the steps in the planning phase may vary slightly in the order in which they are performed these steps represent the major activities and products in a joint financing approach.
